Throwback to Lake Bogoria Trip

A long weekend was coming up and we were exploring places to visit.I had always wanted to visit Lake Bogoria Hot Springs,so we settled on that.We packed our bags on a friday and off we went to Bogoria. We had booked accomodation at the Spa Resort Bogoria and we got there in the evening.The Resort is beautiful and they had just completed doing renovations and building new rooms.We checked into the rooms which were spacious and beautiful,had dinner and retired to sleep.The plan for the next day was to visit the Lake Bogoria hot springs.

We woke up early and ready for the day.It was vey hot!!!!!After breakfast,the hotel manager organised for us a tour guide and off we went to the hot springs.I was not ready for the distance and terrain.It was a long journey interior and the road was dusty and rough and it was hot!!!I had always assumed that the Lake Bogoria hot springs was next to the resort but learnt otherwise on that day.For your information it is quite a distance.

We arrived at the hot springs and the scenery was amazing!!!!We had also carried some eggs that we could boil and devour.The water was hot,so we boiled our eggs and took some photos and headed back to hotel.It was an awesome visit and for me that was enough to end my curiousity. There are places i would visit over and over,but for this place...one visit was enough. We created memories.
