MOCK stands for Mitsubishi Owners Club of Kenya. The objectives of the club are road trips,CSR,socializing & meetups and car related deals among others. In the month of March,2020 we had a road trip to Nanyuki. The plan for this road trip included CSR. Nanyuki is in Laikipia county and it takes approximately 3 hours from Nairobi to get there.
The member turn out was good, there were over 15 cars and over 20 people. We left for Nanyuki at 8 am on Saturday and it was a smooth ride.We had a few stops along the way which included the equator in Nanyuki. We then headed straight to the the CSR location which was a foundation that accommodates handicapped children. We were happy to learn how the foundation was formed & the support they give and receive to/from the community.
We then went for lunch at a nearby hotel and drove to Meru County,a place called Timau where we had a few photo shoots..the place was windy!!It was now 7 pm and we headed back to Nanyuki straight to the hotel to check in and freshen up before going out to explore Nanyuki night life. The night was fun and March being my birthday month..MOCK suprised me with a cake.Wow!!!We danced away till the wee hours of the morning.
We left for Nairobi on Sunday. It was a lovely road trip,I had the chance to network and interact with fellow members.I always look forward to MOCK trips & friends are welcome to join.Below are some photos.
