Its been awhile since I blogged.Recently i attended a wedding with my colleagues in Kericho County. We were syked up for the event and did not want to miss the church service. We planned to meetup at 5am in Nairobi town. The day came and we off we left to kericho albeit late .. blame 'african time' and we got to Nakuru at 8am checked into Java for breakfast..We were a big group and it took abit of time for us to be served. We had a lovely time talking as we waited.
We then left for Kericho, and time was not on our side if indeed we wanted to attend the church service,so we rushed...and rushed we did cos as soon as we approached Kericho we were stopped by the traffic cops...we had exceeded the speed limit in an area of 50km. Anyways we let the driver plead his case as we took photos by the tea plantations...the scenery was good.Talk about turning a bad moment to a good one cos if we hadn't been stopped then we would not have taken photos.
We were eventually allowed to proceed with our journey. When we got to Kericho, the church service had ended...yaani we missed it after waking up at 4am.what!!!!hehehehe.So we proceeded straight to the reception and had a lovely time.We presented our gift and left at around 6pm.
We left straight to Nakuru where we ordered for dinner...You should have seen our table!!!it was full of food...heheheh it was like we were being paid to eat...Its approaching 10pm,so we leave for Nairobi.now that is when i felt the trip had dragged from 4am here we are 10pm still in Nakuru...Anyways,we arrived in Nairobi at 1am then headed to our respectives homes.
That was a long long trip!!!!!!!but all in all i had fun and mingled.
